Employers need to understand whole-person wellness — both inside and out of the work environment — and provide resources that support employees in all facets of life.

Employees with caregiver responsibilities, in addition to full-time employment, is a growing audience with unique challenges and needs that employers are striving to address.

Securian Financial fielded a proprietary survey with more than 2,500 employees from various organizations to explore what whole-person wellness means to full-time employees and how employers can support this definition. It also studied the challenges of caregivers, what benefits would be most helpful, and what would encourage them to take advantage of available offerings.
